Today I decided to share the canvas frame that I altered as a gift for a friend who is graduating this Sunday. This was the very first time that I have altered a canvas frame (actually that I have altered anyting canvas) so I was quite happy with the results. I was going to paint it but did not feel like dealing with paint and brushes at the time so I used my distressing inks to do both the back ground and to stamp the images. I think I need to get my hands on some more canvas stuff. I love working with it.

Hi, I was just googling altered canvas (as I want to do one and never have)and came across your work--beautiful.Like you, I scrapbook, make cards (and I've altered other things)but never canvas. Looking forward to giving it a try. Thanks for sharing your art.
